Awesomeness Ambassador Awards – Official Selection Criteria
The Awesomeness Ambassador Awards celebrate individuals who lead with purpose, compassion, and creativity. Nominees are evaluated based on the following core criteria and an optional bonus area, using a standardized scoring process.
Core Selection Criteria
1. IMPACT
Does the nominee’s work result in meaningful, lasting change?
We’re looking for depth and significance of positive outcomes, whether through direct service, systems change, or community transformation.
2. REACH
Who is being served — and how widely?
This includes the scale, diversity, and breadth of those positively affected, whether it's a local neighborhood or a national movement.
3. CREATIVITY & INNOVATION
How original or visionary is their approach?
Nominees who demonstrate fresh thinking, resourcefulness, or courageous experimentation will stand out here.
4. SUSTAINABILITY
Will the impact continue?
We assess whether the nominee’s work is built for the long term — including things like partnerships, funding plans, volunteer support, or scalable models.
5. ALIGNMENT WITH THE MISSION
Does the nominee’s work reflect the values of the Awesomeness Ambassador Awards?
We honor efforts that champion empowerment, leadership, community service, and lifting others up — especially in ways that align with the spirit of Women’s History Month.
6. EQUITY & INCLUSION LENS
Is the nominee working to elevate voices from historically excluded or marginalized communities?
We value cultural awareness, intersectionality, and intentional inclusion.
Additional Considerations
7. PERSONAL JOURNEY & STORYTELLING
Has the nominee overcome adversity or shared a story that inspires?
We celebrate resilience, authenticity, and narratives that connect us to their why.
Final Selection Process:
Each nominee is reviewed by a diverse panel of judges using a standardized scoring rubric. Scores are tallied to determine recipients of the Ambassadorship recognition and to select category winners for the special awards presented at the March 2026 ceremony.
Disqualification & Ineligibility:
To maintain the integrity and spirit of the Awesomeness Ambassador Awards, we reserve the right to disqualify a nomination if:
The information submitted is found to be false or misleading.
The nominee’s actions or history are inconsistent with the core mission and values of this program.
There is credible evidence of unethical conduct, discrimination, or behavior that contradicts the spirit of leadership, service, and equity.
